PROK Group Limited acquired by Outukompu Oy and becomes part of Roxon Oy of Finland. The Finnish group has large investments in Australia through its mining arm and with the addition of PROK Group Limited, now has a large field of manufacturing in the conveyor industry and materials handling, covering five countries and three continents.
Tampella acquires conveyor component and systems business from Outukompu.
Tampella becomes Tamrock prior to the Sandvik acquisition.
Sandvik acquires Australian conveyor maintenance company Beltreco and together existing PROK business becomes Sandvik Materials Handling in Australia.
Sandvik Materials Handling opens new production unit for conveyor components in Vespasiano, Brazil.
NEPEAN acquires global conveyor components and systems business from Sandvik and rebrands the business to PROK, GURTEC and ROXON in their respective regions. Well known brand PROK returns to the Australasian and North American markets.
